When is your child old enough to ride his bike to the park or be left alone while you run to the store?

While there's no universal answer, two Palatine Police officers will help you and your student determine what's right for your family during "Kids on their Own." The program for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders AND their parents will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 at WCE.
